Fatima Convent High School was started 16th July,1963 as an unaided english medium school recognized by the State government of Andhra Pradesh as a minority educational institution . Congregation of mother of Carmel is the embodiment of the dreams and visions of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara . St. Chavara was a great educationist and social reformer of the 19th century .He could foresee the changes in the environment and make strategic moves to build a better society based on Fatherhood God and brotherhood of humanity . Congregation of Mother of Carmel (CMC) , is the first indigenous women religious congregation of India with membership of around 6400 sisters , renders its service to the humanity in education , social , health care and other activities aiming at the integral development of the society.

Ever since its inspection in 1963 , it took special care and interest in the education of the people of the locality. Education is being the charisma of the CMC congregation , its members have been well trained and specialized in teaching at all the levels of education.The CMC Congregation has the tradition and reputation of one and half century (150 years ) in the field of education.
